Today I was working on a 2500 and accidentally created a point-to-point
sub-interface on Serial 0 when I meant to create a multi-point
sub-interface. I tried everything I could think of to convert it to a
multi-point sub-interface (without re-booting, that is) all to no avail.
It would always say something like "cannot change link type". It was
version 11 something, I believe. Is this normal behavior? Anyone know a
trick for changing it to the other link type? Thanks!
