First thing to do is take an apple! J/K. Definitely use the
proctor! If a question is unclear, ask the proctor. Be certain that
it is a GOOD question that you are asking. If you ask a dumb
question, they may not directly take points off, but they will have
that in the back of their mind if there comes a situation where
you need the benefit of the doubt. It is best to use the proctor for
clarifying things. Do not ask too many questions though. Then you
may get on their bad side. Then again all proctors are different so I
would feel them out by watching other students ask questions first.
Good luck,
Ed.

Subject: Lab Proctor
Can anyone enlighten me on good strategies toward leveraging the
proctor
at the lab.
For example, what kind of questions should/could you ask him/her.
What kind
of help can they give you. Can you lose points for asking questions.
Do
they want to me questioned or is it better to give them peace to try
and
stay on their good side :)
Any insights would be helpful..
Time is dwindling, 5 weeks to go. Its getting stressful all of a
sudden :)
