  This is only used for the CLI when you're in the router. Queries from a DNS s
erver would be passed through the router as routable packets and the CLI would
not be used in this process.

Can anyone in the group tell me. Is the ip name-server command only applicable
 to queries at the command line of the router or does it affect DNS queries pas
sing via the router ?
