As per the CD :

By default, the clients of a route reflector are not required to be fully
meshed and the routes from a client are reflected to other clients. However,
if the clients are fully meshed, the route reflector does not need to
reflect routes to clients. To disable client-to-client route reflection, use
the following command in router configuration mode:

Command Purpose
no bgp client-to-client reflection Disable client-to-client route
reflection.

Can someone clarify why on page 423 exists in the same router config ?
router bgp 3
neighbor clients route-reflector-client
no bgp client-to-client reflection

Aren't these two commands negate each other ? Appreciate any inputs .

Thanks .
