OSPF demand-circuit over DDR Non Area 0 routers

Has anyone on the list gotten OSPF demand-circuits working on routers that
are not directly connected to area 0. I had the following scenario but I
could not get demand-circuit to work.

r5-----area5-ISDN only-
demand-circuit---r6-----area10-virtual-path------r4------area0------R3

l------------F/R link to r4
w/IS-IS-------------------------------------------------------l
