not too many have implemented these features......most Carriers are in the
process..........a couple of deployments I know of were quite small scale up
to 10 routers...............mpls does not really affect the scalabilty of
the routing protocol.....the only thing that differs is the memory
requirements on the PE routers.........they have to contain the
VRF's..........

the P & PE routers need to maintain LDP/ TDP tables also, again not sure how
much memory this consumes......

IS-IS or OSPF have to be used........both only work in a single area for
MPLS-TE.........
