Apple and ATM

Hello all.

I'm trying to autodiscover a network on the other side of an atm link.

Basically, I configure the A end like this :

interface ATM1/0
 ip add 192.168.1.1 255.255.255.0
 atm arp-server self
 no ip route-cache
 no ip mroute-cache
 atm pvc 1 0 5 qsaal
 atm pvc 2 0 16 ilmi
 atm esi-address 700070007000.01
 map-group apple
 appletalk cable-range 100-100 100.1
 appletalk zone atm
!
map-list apple
 appletalk 100.2 atm-nsap 47.00918100000000107BD3E501.720072007200.01
broadcast

and try to work out, from the B end, what the network and zones are.

with

!B
int atm 1/0
apple cable-range 222-222 222.22
appletalk discovery

I can get the correct cable network range replaced on B, but unless I know
the correct "host" part of the apple address mapped on A, I'll never get the
ZIP reply as there's no corresponding map to B...

confused?

I guess my question is, is there a way to use "inarp" on ATM SVCs??

thanks.
