Currently testing with dlsw- would like to ask you this question.
How to verify that the virtual ring group is linked to a dlsw session?
Look at these lines of conf :
!
source-bridge ring-group 100
dlsw local-peer peer-id 192.168.1.10 promiscuous
...........
interface Virtual-TokenRing0
ip address 10.25.20.1 255.255.255.0
ip broadcast-address 0.0.0.0
no ip directed-broadcast
ring-speed 16
source-bridge 10 1 100
source-bridge spanning
!
--------->the dlsw session is connected
2520#sh dlsw peers
Peers: state pkts_rx pkts_tx type drops ckts TCP
uptime
TCP 10.10.10.7 CONNECT 5 2 prom 0 0 0
00:00:07
Total number of connected peers: 1
Total number of connections: 1
-----------> but I get this for tokenring side, no input - no output
explorers, Note also
the TCP transport disabled.
2520#sh source-bridge
Local Interfaces: receive transmit
srn bn trn r p s n max hops cnt cnt drops
Vi0 10 1 100 * f 7 7 7 0 0 0
Global RSRB Parameters:
TCP Queue Length maximum: 100
Ring Group 100:
No TCP peername set, TCP transport disabled ****************
Maximum output TCP queue length, per peer: 100
Rings:
bn: 1 rn: 10 locvrt ma: 4000.0000.000c Virtual-TokenRing0 fwd: 0
Explorers: ------- input ------- ------- output -------
spanning all-rings total spanning all-rings total
Vi0 0 0 0 0 0 0
Explorer fastswitching enabled
Local switched: 0 flushed 0 max Bps 38400
rings inputs bursts throttles output drops
Vi0 0 0 0 0
--------> By debug, I can see that router is receiving explorers from the
peer, but it
seems like they are not being forwarded on the Virtual TR.
Question : am I missing something ?
or it would work on a REAL tokenring ?
Thanks, Max
