Hello,
For everyone's benefit, including mine :) I wanted to compile a list of the
top pitfalls and preparations to help pass the CCIE lab. I would like to
hear the opinions of those who have taken the test.
From What I have seen on list it would seem
Reasons for failure Top Preperation
1.) Simply not prepared enough 1.) Hands on Experience/Home labs
2.) Time Management 2.) Know the Cisco CD like the
back of your hand
3.) Not familiar enough with Cisco CD 3.) Labs like ccbootcamp & ccpr
ep
4.) Books mainly Doyle, Halbib,
Caslow, ATM and Voice over IP.
5.)CCIE prep classes if you are
lucky enough.
Just trying to get a better idea of how to most efficiently prep and what
are the biggest pratfalls to lookout for. I don't think any of this would
be considered a violation of the NDA, if it is feel free to beat and flame me.
Thank You,
-Eric
