While I am a notoriously paranoid individual, I can not see a lab proctor
having the time or energy to monitor this list on a regular basis, if he/she
was not required to. I am not saying they could not or that no one would, I
am just thinking of the time factor and the volume of traffic. Heck, I
BARELY have enough time to keep up with this list, and I am pretty motivated
by personal reward to try and know all I can, in preparation for the exam.
Maybe I am wrong, its been known to happen once or twice, or a thousand
times ;).

BTW, I agree with the lazy theory of human endeavor. Sounds pretty logical
to me.

Maybe one of the lab proctors could just post the labs, it would be so much
easier to study that way! Come on guys, I know you follow this list, please?
               <<

there was a rumor going around for a while that not only did the lab
proctors watch this list, but they also noted names of those who
participated regularly, as well as topics discussed. Then when such a person
showed up for the lab, they received a scenario especially tailored for
them, including detailed requirements for topics they had discussed on the
list.

Much as I believe in the lazy theory of human endeavor ( people will only do
that work which they perceive will allow them to be even lazier in the
future ), I worry that computer technology has changed a lot of this.
Databases with these kinds of cross references aren't all that much work any
more.

I know there are several folks here who use pseudonyms and less easily
traced web mail accounts for a number of reasons. Maybe we all should?

Chuck
