If your IOS is pre-11.3(something) or 12.0, you might want to configure the
"standby use-bia" interface command. This can resolve some odd problems in
SRB environments, as well as making it a little simpler in complex HSRP
setups. It should default to this in "newer" releases.

The use-bia command causes gratuitous arp's to be sent when failover occurs,
so if anything doesn't understand these in a locally connected network, you
might have issues when the standby takes over, but apart from that, it
should be OK.

You may want to search CCO for "standby use-bia" to get some more info, and
it might be worth doing a search on CCO Bugwatch for HSRP with your IOS
release, as there are some generally weird bugs for HSRP anyway, (like
standby track not always working etc.) that you might want to test out -
These aren't TR specific however.
