Hi Oscar,
        The rule is as follows..
1. If you do not have a full IBGP mesh, synch should be left on. The only
way to propagate the routes is via redistributing into an IGP.
2. If you do have a full mesh you can disable synch.

Subject: BGP design

        Dear all,

Inside an AS where there are routers that are not running IBPG:

When you should redistribute BGP into the IGP and when you should turn off
synchronization???

Thank you for your advice in advance.

        Best regards,

Oscar.
