There was a time when you could get a free copy of the manuals for each
router that you had on "smart-net" contract but I'm not sure if it's still
true.

You can check to see if you're entitled to free stuff (manuals, software,
boot ROMs, etc) by going to www.cisco.com/upgrade and choosing "contractual"
as the type of upgrade and entering your contract number. You can find your
contract number by looking in your profile on CCO. To see if you can receive
a free set of manuals click on "continue" on the first page after you get
in. Then enter or choose a shipping address. After you've got a shipping
address entered the next page is the page that shows you the documentation
that your contract number is entitled to.

If you bought them from Cisco directly it would cost you about $900 for the
whole set. I've seen some 12.1 sets on eBay for a few hundred.

Does anybody know where I can get a hardcopy version of the IOS 12.0
documentation set. I know its all on the CD, but hardcopy is a bit easier on
the eyes. Has anybody got a set they dont need any more ?
