Hi Tarun,
Try changing the Stop Bits configuraton on your terminal session from 1 to
2. This should work. Sometimes I have found with certain IOS versions the
console port becomes inoperable (not hardware).
The default configuration (Hyperterminal)should be:
9600, 8, None, 1, None
Change the stop bits to 2.
9600, 8, None, 2, None
