This is incorrect... The passing score on the written exam used to be 65%, but
was changed to 70% about 18 months ago. It does not fluctuate on a monthly
basis.
Pure speculation, mind you, but I would hazard to guess that's Kurt's inability
to access the online scheduling tool might have something to do with the fact
that he passed the written quite a while ago. While we would hope that they'd
managed to track down every successful written exam, and get it into the system
,
we have no way of knowing how far back they went. The other possibility is tha
t
the online lab registration does not take into account the fact that the passin
g
score used to be 65%.
My advice would be to contact Cisco, and point out what may be a flaw in their
registration system. Because we provide both the score, and the date of the
exam, it certainly ought to be able to adjust for the old "pass" mark.
