Looks like the Microwave is connected to the Ethernet, much like DSL
connects to the Ethernet. Problem is how do you monitor the Microwave side
of the link if the Ethernet stays UP?

Can you assign IP addresses to the Microwave side of the links?

Have you tried configuring the T-1 as a backup interface to the interface
connecting to the "microwave link".

Lets say microwave link is connected to S0 thro the CSU/DSU or whatever
power modem it is.
Configure S1 connected to the T1 as a backup for S0

int s 0
backup int s 1

WIth EIGRP, you can load balance also or bring it up after reaching a load
threshold.

hey guys,

I have a 11 mb microwave connection to other site.
The microwave link box is connect to the network
using an ethernet connection.

There is a T1 link whcih acts as an back up for the
microwave. the ciso router is runnig EIGRP.

can any one suggest how to bring up the seriaal link
with T1 circut up once the microwave goes down.

pls suggest me some thing.
