I have a 2620 with faulty NVRAM
If I issue a 'wr' it writes the start config ok but fails to write the
environment.
"environment write to NVRAM failed"
This has the consequence that it does not save confreg values. So if I
confreg to 0x2102 then when ever I power off I have to 'copy start run'
every time.
I also get the same if I attempt a 'sync' command in rommon.
1) Where can I get a replacement chip from - inexpensively
2) Does it need any special initialisation to write the 1st n bytes
before the config storage area for the environment variables?
Thanks
Peter
