Damn, sorry about my last post...  I read it and didn't even pay attention
to Peter mentioning he was already using novell echo and trying to ping a
client (have no idea why I wrote 'servers and clients' in my original...).
Anyway, thanks Chuck, for the link you posted...  At least this long week is
finally over...
