Kurt,

        Is your router giving out DHCP addresses? The 'dhcpd' messages seem
to be coming from the DHCP server daemon. If you're not doing DHCP on the
router, try doing a 'no service dhcp' on the router. Although you do have
multiple IP addresses coming from the same MAC addresses. Could this me a
mis-configured etherchannel, or a 3Com load balancing software problem?

bootp server logs
with these messages ? i have disabled ras to no avail.
i'd rather not filter the mac address if i can help it .
