Subject: Re: WORKING Fine ( Source Route Transparent bridging.)
Annu,
Answer is below each question.
Rajeev,
Thanks for posting the answer but couple of questions
as it confuses me.
1.Why have u IP on To of R2 and none on Ethe0 of R3 ?
It was just an mistake and I used that IP to telnet to that router from
R1. U can take it out.
2.Why have u IP add of Ser1 of R3 and nothing on R2
serial ?
Sorry again, This was use to test the connectivity between R2 andR3 and it
has no revelence to the config.
3. More important is what are ur R1 and R4 configs.
What are the IP address(es) on their To and Eth
interfaces respectively.
R1 has an Ip address of 10.10.10.5/24 on its token-ring interface and r4 has
a address of 10.10.10.4 on its ethernet interface. Just think them as any
end stations.
Ping from r1 to R4 is successful.
Still do u need the configs of them
Can u post their configs too ? does Ping work from
both ends.
Thanks in advance,
Annu
