Bill,

First off is the route to your second ISP showing up in your BGP table? Also, a
re you using any aggregate addresses?

Subject: Failover with BGP

We currently have 3 T1's from our router to one ISP and another T1 to a
different ISP. When we test failover by shutting down the 3 T1's, we are not
able to pass traffic over the other T1 to the second ISP. When I do a show
ip route, all the routes are pointing to the first ISP's address. I know
that BGP only uses the one best path, but is there anything specific you
have to do when you test failover? Do I have to use the clear ip bgp *
command?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Bill Mckenzie
