hello,
well, it as to see with difference between token-ring and ethernet :
take the "normal" mac address in ethernet. it goes like that :
Byte 0 Byte 1 Byte 2 Byte 3 Byte 4 Byte 5
01234567|01234567|01234567|01234567|01234567|01234567|
and the same token-ring address:
Byte 0 Byte 1 Byte 2 Byte 3 Byte 4 Byte 5
76543210|76543210|76543210|76543210|76543210|76543210|
In hexa you will have
ethernet : 0200.0000.0180
token-ring : 4000.0000.8001
Is this example OK ?
