Ultimately, IMHO, the effectiveness of any public forum comes down to how well
the forum is moderated. I don't know squat about how well the Cisco NPC forum i
s moderated, if at all.

Your right. Most of the time people are very accomodating, but I know it
would go against the general purpose of the list, and some people don't like
that. I know I would be very interested in a list where people could get
together and draw on each others experience for production network
issues/questions.
