Hi Alex,

The "set port security" command in your example will
only permit port 2/6 to accept frames from the host
with the MAC address 00-00-00-00-00-01. If a user
tries to unplug that host and use another MAC the
operation will fail.

The example with "set cam permanent" will not have the
same effect. It will limit MAC address
00-00-00-00-00-01 to port 2/6 but will not stop a user
from plugging a hub in that port and getting access
via another MAC.
