David,
It seems like the first one would match the prefix list, but I think the
second one would match both 1.2.3.0/25 and 1.2.3.128/25. I think you
are correct about 2 not being able to be expresses with a single
prefix-list.

Subject: Prefix-list verification
Hi all,
Can anyone verify which one is correct.
ip prefix-list deny 1.2.3.0/25 is same as
1. access-list 101 deny host 1.2.3.0 host 255.255.255.128
or
2. access-list 101 deny 1.2.3.0 0.0.0.255 host 255.255.255.128
I think 1 is correct. 2 cannot be express as ip prefix-list
but any comment??
many thanks
