Paul, as far as good practice (and what TAC suggests) goes,

either hard code speed/duplex on lab on both sides, or let it
auto-negotiate on both sides.

however, my practice is dont bother to do this until
. explicitly asked in the test or
. you are getting the cdp duplex mismatch errors on the console

remember, theres a ton of other nice things they want u to do which
actually carry hard points.
