Guys,
          In light of your recent discussion about using the "csim" hidden
command to test VoIP connectivity I came across this "tip" covered in the
Packet Magizine.

T I P : To simulate a phone call being made from a PBX for testing purposes,
type the command:

   csim start XXXXXXXXX
   where XXXXXXXX = the phone number
   you want to test

Then you can see if your voice-over-IP (VoIP) configuration is correct on
the router. Make sure that you have done a write memory recently, because
this command can sometimes crash the router. [csim is a "hidden command" and
should be performed from a gateway router -- Editors.]

Does this mean cisco acknowledges the fact that the command can crash your
device which is why this "tip" made it into the magazine. Also, note that
the command is hidden.."for reasons mentioned here - maybe" :-)
