Attempting my 3rd time.
To ensure you pass you really do need to know everything about everything.
At least everything in 12.1 ios. If you have all the basics down pat (RIP,
(E)IGRP, OSPF, ISI, BGP, Bridging) and can configure them up without a whole
lot of thought you are a little over half way there. Then there is NAT,
IPSEC, other security features, DLSW, ISDN, PIM etc. etc.
The Cisco site used to specifiy the technologies. Now all it says is
anything in 12.1 ios. I would take that at face value. The more you know the
better chances you have of passing.
After my second attempt, I thought I had passed and had a lot of knowledge
under my belt. For my third attempt I have resigned myself to going through
all the docs on CD except for the basics which I believe I already have a
good understanding of.
