Just adding to Nick's comment. Make sure when prepend (in real life this is a must) you do it with you own AS :)

When performing aggregation, the AS-path info is 'lost' (well, its not
actually lost, see my earlier post for explanation) and the prefix seems to
be appearing from the AS performing aggregation. Is this behaviour you are
after ? (ie. the prefix appears to be coming from an AS which is not
originating it)
