|Subject: ISDN question
|
|
|Greetings,
|
|I am working from Solie''s book on ISDN chap 16 ppp authen, callback,
|multilink.
|The lab call for both routers using the ISDN as a backup for
|the point to
|point serial using subinterfaces over frame. They also ask for
|both ends to
|call one another. My question is this when you use the backup
|interface
|command it puts the bri interface in standby. If you unplug
|either end of the
|frame circuit, the ISDN will start to dial. However, they
|never connect
|because the remote bri interface stays in standby. If you
|disconnect the
|frame connection for the standby interface then it works. How
|can I get the
|remote interface to recognize when local interface is down
