I saw this about a year ago. It was a bug in the code. I had to turn off mgcp, use only h.323 and turn off compression.

header-compression---Second Request

Hi Folks,

I posted this a couple of days ago. But I didn't hear nothing from the group. When I enable frame-relay ip rtp header compression on my routers. My voip calls does not go through:( ...the ring is garbled up and if I pick up the phone on the other end I receive static. On the router I receive error messages stating no ring descriptor available.

I was wondering if anybody else ever came across this problem and if so how did the fix it.

thanx,

chris hugo
