CCIE Lab Desktop Environment

I want to simulate the RTP CCIE lab desktop environment as closely as
possible when doing my sample labs at home. I am used to using linux
with a very high resolution (1400x1050), so I can see about 6
ssh/minicom windows at the same time, i.e., be able to inject a route on
one router, and debug ip routing on the others, and watch it all in real
time. This is great for my own lab, but I'm worried that it will make
me uncomfortable in the real lab.

Recently, I have been using Windows 98 with a low resolution (1024x768),
with hyperterminal to try and make myself adapt. I get 1 big hyperterm,
and ALT-TAB through the routers instead (I hate it!). Can someone
comment on the lab's Desktop environment, particularily resolution and
hyperterminal font size?

Thanks.
