I was working on a similar senario, but I could not make it working.
Could you share me some of your thought? I would really appreciate it.
If there is a router connect to port fa0/17 of the switch, and has ip
addr 1.1.1.20. (under Vlan20)
Are you able to ping that ethernet interface from the switch?? (from
management interface 1.1.1.4)
I tried this on a Cat5k without problem, but having difficulty with 3550.
