You can use the same serial cables for the NM-4A/S as you use for the
2500's. The WIC-1T uses the same cables also. It's the WIC-2A/S and
WIC-2T that need the special "smart" serial cables.

Subject: Please help urgently!!
Hello,
I currently have a Cisco 2620 for my study. I am just wondering what
would
be the most economic / most cost effective way to get 4 Serial Ports in
total onto the 2620 (so I can do 4 ports frame etc).
I know I can get NM-4A/S, but is there any other cheaper way? And with
the
NM-4A/S, can I use the same cables that I normally use for connecting 2
x
2501's serials? Or do I need any special cables?
Would be greatly appreciated if anyone can shed some light on this.
Best Regards,
H.
