my experiance was that configuration that I had done, disappeared once or
twice,
ospf authentication commands, that sort of thing.
maybe putting an open access list on the aux/vty ports, that logs access
will tell if the proctors had a go!
Its worth thinking about.

Troubleshooting is not officially off the list, you should be able to do
this if it's you that made the error, or the proctor introducing faults for
you too find.
