Although its always best to ask... I would say if it
doesn't need to be there don't put it in. That said, I
also have observed that the proctors are reasonable
people and want to ensure you understand the
technology and have satisfied the requirement. I can't
imagine either of your said practices would be a
problem. My 2 cents. <grin>
