It's based on local taxes and stuff... If there is a VAT in Brussels,
you get to pay that too. It used to be the same with Halifax! $1,000
in SJC and $1,150 in Halifax.

Subject: CCIE Lab Fee Discrepancy
I just booked a seat at Brussels for my CCIE Security lab, and got a
confirmation email that says lab fee is US $1512.50. I don't know if
it's just me, but the Routing and Switching lab I went to at San Jose is
only US $1250. Has anyone encountered this problem? Why do I have to pay
two different lab fees going to Brussels lab?
TIA
