I have configured BSR-candidate on a router and rp-candidate on R1 and R2. The rp address of r1 is 172.16.101.1 and R2 172.16.102.1. From what I understand, the one with the lower ip address should be the rp and this is chosen by the router that recieves the bootstrap message. I got this from Doyle page 564. Is this correct. MY config is showing the one with the higher ip being the rp.
