3920 ring number question

Hi,

The following is what I had:

R1--ring1---3920(trbrf10)----ring1---R2

No ping between R1 and R2, although both routers can
ping 3920 without any problems. If I change R2's ring
number to 2, then I can ping among R1, R2 and 3920.
When I have the same ring number, R1 and R2 can only
ping each other when I use SRT. What did I do wrong?
Or when we have SRB, 3920 cannot have the same ring
number? Can someone please explain?

Thanks,
Chang
