I have also seen this before, when you copy and paste, sometimes you may end
up copying till end of line and your key string becomes cisco-chain followed
by spaces.

I've implemented the same key chain and it worked.

Just a thought - are you sure you didn't add an extra space after the name
of the key chain in the interface config. mode?
