NTP authentication

Hi,

I've a problem with ntp authentication, in pratical studies volume 1:
client Server
ntp authenticate ntp authenticate
ntp authentication-key 1 md5 ccie ntp authentication-key 1 md5
ccie
ntp trusted-key 1 ntp trusted-key 1
ntp server x.x.x.x ntp master 6

In jeff Doyle volume
client Server
ntp authenticate ntp authenticate
ntp authentication-key 1 md5 ccie ntp authentication-key 1 md5
ccie
ntp trusted-key 1 ntp master 6
ntp server x.x.x.x key 1

I tried these config and it doesn' t work, in the client when i debug ntp
packet
i send key 1 and the server send me key 0!!!!!!!!!!
