Hi all,

Could anybody tell me please how I could know that a route is synchronized
when it comes from a confederation-ebgp-peer?

Here is what it comes up:

Router#s ip bgp 20.20.4.0
BGP routing table entry for 20.20.4.0/24, version 21
Paths: (1 available, best #1)
  Not advertised to any peer
  (40) 1004 61004
    13.4.3.3 (metric 21) from 13.4.4.4 (13.4.4.4)
Origin IGP, localpref 100, valid, confed-external, best, ref 2

As you can see instead of saying 'synchronized' or 'not synchronized' says
'confed-external'. So, it's synchronized?

Thanks in advanced.

Rgrds,

Enrique Hernandez
