Andrew,
First, set the vtp and spanning tree logging level to something low,
making them a high priority. Use the 'set loggin level' command to do this,
making it a default. Then when you 'set logg server', set the priority so
that only those with the high priority above are sent to it. I assume
you're talking about a CatOS switch. I don't think you can do that much
detail on an IOS one yet.
