What username is CHAP using to dial? Where is you name parameter in
your dialer map statement?

I have some known good configs. When I first paste them to the routers,
the
ISDN line between R1 & R2 constantly bounces & calls last less than a
minute
(idle timeout is default) even though EIGRP hellos are constantantly
traversing the link. If I shut/no shut BRI0/0 on R1 & R2, everything
starts
working normally (line stays up forever due to the EIGRP). This is with
12.1(5)T12 on R1 & R2. Anybody care to offer an explanation?

R1 config follows. R2's is similar, as you might expect.
