It will depend on the question requirements but in general there is no
requirement for a route except to be able to reach the destination system
and to be able to ping it. If the question says make sure all routers are
pingable then you will want to ensure you can ping them. Caution - It's
easy to get caught into testing a few routers here and there and assume the
rest work (due to lack of time to fully test) but that can bite you.

like a stupid question but if your only required to get the route in the

there are ways of doing this but when asked that all routes must also be
pingable, then you have to do a bit more.
