dlsw ethernet redundancy

Hi Group,

I have read two samples but different config about the
feature and want
to know which one should I use.

In the document:

The config does not use HSRP, but in

http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/697/8.html , HSRP is
used.

So, which is better?

Also, for the second config, is ethernet redundancy
not needed if I set
the dlsw local peer to the HSRP ip?
