Try the following:
1) Reduce the baud-rate of the hyperterminal to 2400 bps
2) Reload the router
3) Keep your finger at the space bar continuosly for about one minute
4) Change back the hyperterminal speed to 9600
You will find the router entered the ROMMON state.
This normally works when you don't know the break sequence of the
operating system you are using.
