Hi all.

I'm working Traffic Shaping.

I know FRTS was treated several times in this group.

But, I can't find the answer for my question.

<Question 1>

 I don't know exactly when packets will drop

When packet rate reach CIR+BC+BE value , DROP ???

or

When packet rate reach CIR+BE value , DROP ???

<Example>

-if)# traffic-shape rate 32000 24000 24000 1000

When packet will be dropped ??????

80000 (32000+24000+24000) is drop point ???

or

56000 (32000+24000(BE)) is drop point ???

<Question 2>

mincir 16kbps ; measure interval is 125ms; set DE when 48kbps;

drop when 64kbps

<Config>

map-class frame-relay ccie

frame-relay mincir 16000

frame-relay cir 48000

frame-relay bc 6000

frame-relay be 10000

Is this correct ???

"Set DE" means "DE=0" ??

When packet exceed CIR, DE bit will set "DE=0" ????

When packet exceed BC, DE bit will set "DE=1" ????

I'm so confusing.

Thanks in advance.
