Aldo,
2950 is a fixed configuration. 2924XL-EN has 2 expansion slots for fiber
module, etc.
2950 only does DOT1Q, where as 2924 does both DOT1Q and ISL trunking.
2950 will work in "Desirable" trunk mode, but 2924 won't.
Get the 2924 with a 2922 fiber module.

Subject: 2950 for the 2nd switch?
Hi All,
I'm shopping for the 2nd switch. I'm thinking of using 2924-XL-EN.
However I saw 2950 switch around the same price.
For those who have played with these 2 switches, my question is:
Does 2950 have all the features that 2924-XL-EN has, and therefore good for
the 2nd switch?
Thanks in advance for your 0.02
Aldo
