Hi all,

Just a couple of notes on the 37xx versus 3640. To summarize it has
integrated 10/100 interfaces, wan interface slots, AIM's, supports more
memory, optional inline power for IP phones (big one for VOIP proponents
like Cisco) and of course much higher throughput. A nice box - though
the 3640 was nice in it's day :-) Other differences include the fact
that the 3640 supports 16 Ethernet interfaces versus 32 for the 3745,

"The Cisco 3700 Multiservice Access Routers are based on the same
modular concepts but enable dramatically higher levels of application
and service integration in enterprise branch offices. With on-board
LAN/WAN connectivity, new high density service modules, and support for
multiple Advanced Integration modules (AIMs), the Cisco 3700 delivers
new levels of branch office service density in a compact form factor."
